Broadview’s 3-5s Program

The 3-5s Class takes place three times a week, with two drop-off days. This allows children to continue to develop autonomy and begin to prepare for kindergarten. Parents are able to maintain an active role in their children’s education by working once a week with Teacher Erin in the classroom.

Enrollment and Tuition:

  • Children who will be at least three years of age by August 31st.
  • For the 2019-2020 School Year, tuition is 8 monthly payments of $200 plus quarterly registration of $53.25 with North Seattle Community College.
  • Scholarships are available.
  • To apply, submit a registration form. Enrollment is confirmed when the parent coordinator has received your $40 nonrefundable registration fee.

Parent Participation Includes:

  • Parents work in the classroom one day per week.
  • Attend once-a-month, 2 hour evening meetings for preschool business and parent education.
  • Providing snack for the class per the rotating schedule.
  • All parents will be responsible for holding a board position or participating in a committee.
  • Participating in fundraising activities.

Class Schedule:

Classes meet on three days from mid-September through May. A typical class schedule follows:

Monday and Wednesday

  • 2:10-2:40 Outside Play
  • 2:40-3:00 Closing Circle

Broadview Co-op’s PreK Program

PreK students work on kindergarten readiness including early math, literacy, and social skills. PreK includes attending 3-5s, but PreK adds an extra 5 hours per week including Tuesday afternoons which is PreK kids only in addition to the 3-5s schedule. Registration priority is given to currently enrolled 3-5s families.

Enrollment and Tuition:

  • Children who will be at least four years of age by August 31st.
  • For the 2019-2020 School Year, Combined 3-5s and PreK tuition is about 8 monthly payments of $305 (Sept is prorated and less) plus quarterly registration of $53.25 with North Seattle Community College.
  • Scholarships are available.
  • To apply, submit a registration form and indicate your interest in both 3-5s and preK.

PreK Parents will rotate to help in the classroom, typically on a monthly basis. A typical class schedule follows:
