1 year olds, or “Toddlers,” come to class once a week for an hour and fifteen minutes with their parent or caregiver. In the Toddlers class children are introduced to the preschool environment. Each class opens with “free choice” time where kids can choose from a variety of developmentally appropriate activities, toys, climbing equipment, games, puzzles, and art projects. Following free choice the kids transition to the music room for singing, dancing, and playing musical instruments. Toddlers must be 1 by August 31 of a given school year.
