Our cooperative is designed to provide a learning experience for both parents and children. Parents are provided with an opportunity to work and observe their children and other children in a group preschool setting. Parents are also given the opportunity to discuss common problems affecting their children and to receive instruction through lectures and seminars on subject matters pertinent to raising children. Many families find that a coop provides friendship and community well beyond preschool.

Our school is located 1.5 blocks East of View Ridge Park behind the Sandpoint Community United Methodist Church.

Parent involvement?

Because we are a co-op, parents are expected to attend monthly parent meetings, help in the class one day a week as well as serve on a committee position (such as class photographer, scheduler, or class treasurer). The parent who attends class also earns credit in Parent Education at North Seattle College! To learn more about cooperative preschool programs, visit the Co-op Basics page.
