Our program is play-based and child directed. We believe that children learn and grow cognitively, socially, emotionally, and physically when they play in an environment that is both stimulating and nurturing.  We provide the children with open-ended activities in the art area, block area, dramatic play area, table toy area, sensory table area, and discovery/science area. Children also participate in a music circle, outdoor play and snack time. There are parents working in all the play areas so that they can provide support and guidance when needed.

Kerri Brown-Wooster Pre-3s Teacher

Our teacher, Kerri Brown-Wooster hails from Stourbridge in England. She graduated top of her class with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theater from University of Wolverhampton. There, she led a program using drama therapy and British sign language in the education of children with various disabilities. Since then, Kerri’s primary focus has been early childhood education with an emphasis on drama and creative play. In Seattle, she was a children’s teacher at the Parent Child Center at Seattle Central College from 2013 to 2016. Kerri’s bubbly personality captures the imagination of parents and children alike and her calm and even presence keeps their interest. She adores music and art and uses puppets and other playful tools during circle time. Her belief in the importance for early childhood development guides her work as she creates opportunities for focused play in a safe, engaging and creative environment.
